Stretch it Out

If you've known me for any amount of time, you know I've had persistent problems with pain and muscle paralysis. I've been working with a physical therapist for a long time now, and we've finally advanced to bi-weekly appointments, which means I need to start stretching at home. I've largely been following my prescribed stretches for my knees, back, calves and neck, but I've made other adaptations too. Regular on the mat yoga practice, a new desk chair to support my lower back, walking at least for thirty minutes a day. I'm getting there. I think eventually I'll put together a playlist of all of the yoga practices I follow, and I'll add that to the random share. All in all, I really do ache, but it's at least a livable ache, compared to uncontrollable pain.
